Original U.S. Civil War Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber with Scabbard by Mansfield and Lamb MG 34 Display Guns & Part Sets Originating from our 2003 NepaleseOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a really nice example of the principal cavalry saber used in the U. S. Civil War of 1860 1865. It has brass mounts with leather sword grip bound in brass wire. The curved blade is marked as being inspected by G. G. S. who was a Union Government Inspector named GEORGE G. SANDERS and was stationed at the "Mansfield & Lamb" sword factory during the period of hostilities in 1861 1862. The markings are faint but
