Gegr\u00fcndet wurden die Habatat Galleries 1971 in einem Vorort von Detroit von Ferdinand Hampson, wo sie seit 2013 unter der Leitung seiner S\u00f6hne Corey Hampson und Aaron Schey weitergef\u00fchrt werden. Habatat widmet sich ausschlie\u00dflich K\u00fcnstlern, die mit dem Medium Glas arbeiten, und ist damit die gr\u00f6\u00dfte und \u00e4lteste Galerie dieser Art in den USA. In Zusammenarbeit mit vielen Museen, Kunstzentren und staatlichen Einrichtungen hat sie seit ihrer Gr\u00fcndung Ausstellungen an \u00fcber 100 Orten umgesetzt.<\/p>\n

Die Schantz-Galerie besteht seit 40 Jahren und bietet eine gro\u00dfe Sammlung zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Skulpturen. Die Galerie von Sandra Ainsley ist heute die f\u00fchrende Galerie zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Glaskunst in Kanada. Seit ihrer Gr\u00fcndung 1984 ist sie dabei vor allem unterst\u00fctzend t\u00e4tig, private oder \u00f6ffentliche Sammlungen aufzubauen. Magdalena und Wiktor Borowski er\u00f6ffneten die Continuum Gallery im Jahr 2010. Seit Generationen genie\u00dft Kunst einen hohen Stellenwert in ihrer Familie. Auch die Geschichte des Standorts der Galerie, des Winterm\u00fchlenhofs, geht \u00fcber 600 Jahre zur\u00fcck. In ihrer Ausstellung aus moderner Malerei, Skulpturen und Fotografie arbeiten sie sowohl mit jungen als auch etablierten K\u00fcnstlern zusammen.<\/p>\n

Umgeben von Wasser und sowohl alten Lagerh\u00e4usern als auch moderner Architektur f\u00fchrt er hier die Galerie in die n\u00e4chste Generation. Die Galerie St\u00f6lting unterst\u00fctzt die Achilles-Stiftung beim Aufbau ihrer Sammlung und ist vor allem spezialisiert auf f\u00fchrende K\u00fcnstler aus Tschechien.<\/p>\n

Vor \u00fcber einem Jahrzehnt er\u00f6ffneten Astrid und Andr\u00e9 Sikabonyi ihre Galerie in der Altstadt von Wien, wo sie sich ganz der modernen Skulptur aus Glas widmen.
